I went Sunday. It was a good day. I lost track of the race while wondering around but I had recorded it. I got round to watching it yesterday. I thought I'd just wizz through quickly but to my supprise I watched quite a lot of it. I'm expecting the GP this afternoon to be the usual anticlimax even more than normal now!
Here are a few snaps I took from the spectator side: http://www.jaypeaphotos.co.uk/Jay%20...LMS/index.html After last years pit walk I thought I'd never try the pit walk again. I just stood stuck in a scrum for half an hour, couldn't get in or out! So it was good that they limited it to the first 2000 advanced tickets for the lucky few. But while walking away from the back of the pits to find a seat in the stand a steward at the end asked if I wanted to go in anyway without a pass. Still a scrum round Mr Webber but good to see the cars close up. Sometimes I wish they's have the drivers at the back of the pits for the signing queues and leave the pit garage view more open for us to see the cars. |
