Donington - I'd spectate anywhere from redgate round to the museum. But that's not what you want to know, is it?

race time table courtesy of the mst-group.co.uk pages (a very good resource)
warm up 9am for 15 minutes
race 2pm - 1 hour race

So, go early, don't just turn up for the main race. You've got 4 support races to figure out a good spot.

You could try the outside of the Old Hairpin; you'll get to see the cars come down the Kraner curves, brake into the Old Hairpin and accelerate away under Starkey's Bridge, but as Bodysnatcher says most places can give you good views. Melbourne Hairpin is worth a look if they're running the GP circuit. Enjoy

Bottom of the Hill at the Old hairpin is the place I'd chose, not necessarily the most overtaking but for the paying public its the best palce to watch racing from in the UK IMHO

If as usual its chucking it down, you can,if early, park overlooking ( on the infield )the old hairpin, you can see either left or right fairly good veiws too, to get close on the outside either Redgate, or the Crainer Curves, not usually that many people there due to the walk though..
