Why not? Budgets are part of the game, what's wrong? If they shouldn't have made the leap, it will show, and likewise if they can swim in the deep end then what is wrong? Why limit opportunity?

Since when has GP3 been higher level than F3 - apart from in your imagination?

FIA should give scholarships to the top drivers of each class, like IndyCar does.

You mean like the FIA F3 prize money, or the GP3 prize money?

Ok, that's a good start. Oh wait...

drivers moving on to F1 feeder category GP2 or its own feeder GP3 would not be eligible for the prize money.

I still have no idea what your point is...

...what is actually wrong with all of this? You've shown what you don't like but haven't explained in any way as to why this is a problem...

...seriously, if a driver is deemed an asset by the team, economical or pace wise (or whatever mix of both) and is therefore signed (after all, a team wouldn't sign a driver who wouldn't be some sort of asset, unless they have a strong desire to dissolve into oblivion and to con whatever sponsors they have), why is that bad? You won't be alone to call them out as too inexperienced and rushing up the ladder if the step up doesn't work. If it does, then what on earth is the problem? And how do FIA-prize funds solve this unknown problem?

Please do explain...

I complain is that the top drivers don't get promoted and less successful drivers do.

I complain that FIA gives a prize to the F3 champion, but it can't be used for the F1 feeder series.
