Rumor is that Porsche are still doing something that improves their refueling times by a couple of seconds per stop. Which means a gain of about 4-8 seconds per double stint.

Also, it should be noted that as far as development of the sprint and LM kits, though teams can't develop a whole new package without permission (unlikely to be forthcoming) from the ACO, teams can still change parts of them, but that's largely limited to interchangeable parts (dive planes, diffuser flaps if running a wing diffuser, which only Audi ever did, other minor stuff).

Porsche's biggest advantage is that they now know where to aim. This compromising stuff and weather is why all the low downforce rounds IMO should be first, and why adding Monza or Paul Ricard would be a good idea, even if it cost a round, most likely COTA (though I'd probably yank Bahrain due to controversies there, though COTA has been run like a total crap show). Also, the weather tends to be better when Silverstone is a July-August round.

Some Argentine media say that Pechito will be testing the TS050 in Paul Richards this week.

I wonder if it'll be with just one or both bodykits?

My sensation is low drag bodykit, perhaps 2 different configurations of LD.
The package must be homologated in 15 days.
I guess the 9 drivers will be part of the test too.

They will be doing standard endurance test most likely.
I agree with the LD kit.
Since they wouldn't have gotten car ready after the silverstone, chances are, they are only testing one car.
Driver wise, I think all japanese drivers are back home (as far as I know) so there will be max of 6 drivers there.(or less)

jp.motorsport.com reports Hisatake Murata interview.
https://jp.motorsport.com/wec/news/w...%9B%B8-895995/

*Temperature control of tire was the cause by which the pace of #8 didn't become stable. Race engineer ordered to Kazuki that he should shake the car and warm up tire.
*Rear balance trouble seems the cause for Lopez's crash.
*When Lopez crashed, they found out that hybrid system was alive.
*Crash impact even came to steering of #8, so it took time to exchange the steering unit.
*Porsche adopted the clever strategy they saved the fuel mileage and push 2, 3 laps at clean place.

So they took a spare steering unit from the #8 car to fix the #7? The rear balance issue must be from the roll bar that broke on the #7.

Btw,it seems from Lopez's twitter that he has been ordered to rest for a couple weeks. So he's probably not going to be testing the car this week.
