Linneman is going to prepare both 208's. Is one of the drivers in his team? Otherwise one more.

Don't know of anybody else. Set promotion is the only other possible entry I can think of.

Tore Kristoffersen announced last night at a kickoff event that he will do a full ERX 2017. He will drive the DS3 he bought from Mats Öhman.

With Jérome Grosset-Janin being confirmed for Team Knapick in Euro RX (http://purerallycross.com/index.php/...m-knapick.html) I think that Davy Jeanney will get DA Racing´s second 208 for World RX.

Petter is advertising his Championship winning car for sale on Facebook.

Does he still have two DS3's, or has the original car already gone?

From what I heard both got sold to Nitiss and another driver. Something happened though in the Nitiss deal, Solberg's team had been working on the car for a while.

Well, we are missing out on the entertainment though. Distinct lack of rolled cars lately!

Tore Kristoffersen got one, Mats Öhman has one and maybe Hvaal as well from Hansen. There is at least two or three. I'm not sure if Hansen have any DS3's left.

As for Solberg, his cars are a odd and built to his liking which probably don't suit many others. They could be a bit worn out also.

Mats Öhman got a lot of cars than! Saw that car in Lydden, would be nice to see a lot of cars out again...

You would see a lot of cars if they allowed ERX to race in Britain, sadly because of the travel costs to get here, I doubt it will ever happen and IMG know that, and unless Silverstone is a hit i can see Britain being dropped from WRX altogether as it is simply too expensive to get here for the less well funded teams now. Two thing there, stupid to have the smaller classes in UK rounds as they are likely to be least well funded for the trip, meaning you get only serious guys coming over, ERX teams are mainly better funded but also mainly Scandinavian,a dn we rarely get French teams coming over as their series is so strong, so get them, have a proper historic support and some other stuff? Common sense.

The best way round it would be to get someone like P&0 involved like they used to be and get a double header, Ireland and England, get some deal with a ferry company for both crossings, to make it easier.

But why on earth would IMG do that? They would have to broker a deal, they would much sit there, and let Latvia or Turkey or Argentina or Italypay them to host rounds in countries that have no interest whatsoever in rallycross, lose a bunch of money and quit, next please...

Chunder is the ferry ticket or eurotunnel fare really that much of an issue? Most teams would spend more than that on tolls through France to get down to Portugal. I can understand Ireland being a bit of a mission to get to but you only have to look at the number of Belgians who have regularly come over to Lydden for me to think it's not really a problem. I'm hoping Lydden although not a #EuroRX round will get a bumper entry as it might be the last chance for some drivers to drive there before the (disgraceful) move to Silverstone. Here's hoping anyway.

It's a lot of money with a transporter or a bus yes, and all money you can't really afford. It costs a bunch more with a damn trailer!!

Lydden will get the same sort of entry as last year as with it being WRX only only those cars will go there, there is NO POINT in going there otherwise.

The Lydden of now is not a Lydden to be proud of, it is a shadow of itself, most of it is tarmac and the joker lap really does live up to its name

The same could be said for Sweden and Norway which are now separated. Shame for other European drivers and spectators, although for Scandinavian drivers and spectators it wouldn't matter.

Oh okay. Yeah, the old system with rounds the weekend after one another made it a lot cheaper for fans to be able to see two rounds. Cheaper for teams as well just having to go to another location directly instead of going back home and then back out again more times.

It is a shame though, I think many people would want the old system on some rounds at least.

Not many people, everyone

The only people that dont want it is bloody IMG.

All they want is car parks on GP tracks or near big cities

Up to you as fans, don't support it, let it die.

Cant see that happening though

So "another driver" must have the original Solberg DS3 then? As others have said, the PSRX DS3's run a unique setup, so it will be interesting to see how they fare in the hands of other drivers.

He has yet to confirm what his "new" rallycross RS200 is to be used for. Retros seems the logical answer, but I'm still sticking with my (highly unlikely) theory he is going to use an RS200 for the British Championship!

Forgive the double post, but just amended the list to include the Tore Kristoffersen and Jerome Grosset-Janin.

I note that Pure Rallycross are also reporting that Csucsu has signed with Gigi Galli for the World Rallycross Championship. I can't see the full article, has anyone seen more information about this?

Correct, Solberg's older car got sold. The new one was ment for Nitiss.

Csucsu tested Galli's Kia and also the JRM Mini last year. Galli indicated on posts on facebook last year that the team would do WRX if I remember it right.

Yeah, the header picture on the Csucsu Facebook page shows the JRM MINI. I assumed that would be what he would be driving in 2017, but perhaps it be a Kia?
