SUPERSERIES - KIRKISTOWN April 28th

The new European Formula Ford 1600 era starts at Kirkistown on Saturday April 28th. The series grants racers the opportunity to race in new high-profile events at much-loved tracks.

What a great way to visit Kirkistown if you have never been there before!!
So - who is going to enter, and who will win.....??

barnettracing should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I reckon Jonny McMullan has got to be odds on favourite if he enters. A new lap record in a Mondial M89, now that's a pretty good effort.

It would be fantastic to see a large group of Scottish/English drivers make the short trip over the pond. Kirkistown is the ultimate FF Track and the racing is second to none.

As proved year after year it dosn't matter what age of car your driving anyone can win at Kiristown. As Josh has said, last weekend Jonny Mcmullan set an all time FF track record in a 23 year old car on his way to a fantastic win beating 2011 festival winner Ivor Mcullough and 2010 winner Neville Smyth.

With so many fantastic drivers planning to dust the cob webs of their racing cars to make a return at this fantastic event I dont believe there will be a favourite for this event.

The Irish contingent always make an enormus effort to attend the major Scottish/English meetings, it would be great to see that effort returned.

Who was the last English/Scottish driver to win on Irish soil? Someone could return home a hero!
