I'm getting mixed stories, some say car might be ready late 03' (Not for LM), some are saying 04'.. but nothing definitive. Also AVR is supposed to be building some as well, but this too seems undefined yet.

I guess the Pagani Zonda race version will not be ready for Sebring 12h neither Le Mans 24h. AVR is supposed to be working with Carsport Holland in Pagani development.

Carsport have told the FIA if they do not look at changing the rules for the FIA GT's, they will with draw and race the Zonda in the ALMS next year.

Reading between the lines I think they plan to do a full season somewhere with the car.

What about the Koenigsegg CC? It would be nice to see that in there in the next year or so as well. But I think it's not legal with the GTS rules as they are.

And then the Ferrari Gonzo as well....

And Porsche GT....

Sounds like lots of nice cars available, the Zonda would make a good car I think, as well as the Enzo.

Is it not about time Aysedasi got a list of possible runners up and running on his site ? By heck, after all the race is now less than 8 months away after all.

This is one hell of a car, after seeing it on Top Gear last week I want one.

As for an entry list I am currently setting up a small website listing all rummoured entries, should be up and running by the weekend.

From the horse's mouth:

We haven't come out with any press releases on the Zonda as yet, but I can tell you that things are certainly moving well for that project. The car will be developed in Europe over the next few months, and will have the 6 litre V-12 as advertised. It will be a force to be reconed with in GTS.
We will be campaigning our two Vipers again in '03. We will spend the time between now and Sebring completely going through our cars from the ground up to make them as solid as can be for the upcoming season.

I am negotiating with drivers now, and cannot state who is or is not going to be with us in '03 at this point. A press release will be made as things come together.

AVR will come out of the gate at full speed at Sebring. This season, we were behind on the developement on the Vipers for several reasons, and couldn't start the project really until after Daytona-hence the slow start.

They don't want any part of this; that's why AMG won't supply any engines. Fatso Haug hates Le Mans because it made his cr*ppy cars fly.

They have linked up with an unamed tuning company, who have already started work on preparing the 6 cyl Mercedes engine.
Also the ACO scrutineers are at Pagini checking the cars preperation and clearing any points they may have trouble with.
