true. I can't believe Hakkiman won't admit he didn't draw that track!
How he thinks he can keep his little scam covered up i don't know

I'm assuming your track runs clockwise, by the way. If not then I guess the kinks would be flat out!

Lustigson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hey guys. It's been a while since my last post. But I had some time on my hands and thought, why not take up the Foret du Lac challenge. Here's my solution.

As you might see, the impossible hairpin in the lower left corner and the village part swapped places. That way I could keep the corners, which both have their charms, and alter the first corner. I added a sharp right in the top middle section of the image, something like the first corner in Melbourne. The final corner has only a minor change to it: a chicane right before the start-finish straight. I couldn't make myself sacrifice the fast right-hand sweeper, though.

Nürburgring!

1: The corner isnt that changed, its mostly the straight thats longer and, well... straighter...

2: A strange combo, of first a sharp, but flat out corner, then a bended straight, and then a hairpin. After this a fast flowing corner...

3: Straight...

4: Basically, an overdimensioned chicane, but more challenging...

5: Two medium-fast righthanders, leading to a tricky left-bend, which would be interesting after two righties!

Excellent redo Royksopp

Nice to see you again Lustigson
I like that solution. The idea was that it was about 6 miles long, so that "impossible hairpin" wouldn't be that tight

Oh dear, too many smileys

Six miles? Wow. Maybe we should shorten it first.

I thought the "impossible hairpin" was the one with the trees and stuff.

By the way, I don't think the local authorities would let us redo the track as a whole If they won't even let us take down a couple of trees for a gravel trap.

A track from me.

Somehow this looks alright, but is probably a bit frustrating. I really like the last corner through (runs clockwise)

ohh Red bits are mine,

Pirenzo I know what you mean about frustrating, so much in fact I hate it! But for the last corner, yes it's good rather like the Luffield at Silverstone = Acceleration mid-corner

It's alright, but you've got your work cut out on that one to be honest. Awful will always be awful, no matter what you do.
