I'd like to see a more detailed elevation map for Rouen. I reckon you'd need that to design a proper new track.

I was talking about in the 60's...

The chicane was added in the early 70's, to stop the riders going too fast into Nouveau Monde...

Mantorp Park. Dunno which direction it used to go, but it goes clock wise now.

I don't think so.
Just an updated track. You have to remembr that this is a classic track. This is where Dan Gurney won his first GP for Porsche in 1964, and this is where Jacky Ickx won for Ferrari in 1968 is appalling conditions.

Rouen looks like an impressive track. I've heard much about it, but I've never seen any film footage.

No, you go ahead. I need some more time to prepare it... and I haven't got that time today.

Well, i've got a challenge, but it's pretty time consuming, especially since you must find you own map!
So i'll let Lustigson get his challenge out of the way first...

OK, here's the next challenge!

We tend to design (permanent) road courses all the time. I have a weakness for rovals, however, so I came up with the following:

> Design a new road course for Daytona Motor Speedway.
> The existing oval must (ofcourse) remain intact.
> The new track must consist of one Grand Prix circuit and at least one, but preferably two club variants.
> You may use parts of the oval for the road course.
> You may use parts of the existing road course, but it may need resurfacing and widening.
> You must add a new, Formula 1-standards pit lane and paddock. It does not necessarily have to be in the same spot as the existing NASCAR pit lane.
> The large, dark green area at the bottom of the picture (see below) may not be used -- it's water (if I'm not mistaking).

Go ahead!

I have a bigger picture and/or satellite photo available. The photo is about 4.5 MB, however.

Okay, here's my take on Anderstorp. The old pits will remain for the club circuit.

That's fast, Pirenzo! I like it. However, what I forgot to mention is that I don't know the length of Daytona... to compare the length of the oval and our new tracks.

And Lee, you made quite some changes to Anderstorp. And how many variants does your track have?
