Little yellow Lights !!!!

ahhh ..these things are causing me some trouble...when I read the forums i usually start from the bottom and work my way to the top going through each forum and replying at will...but lately when im only half way trough the forums I return to the main index to find that the page has been refreshed and all the yellow lights have dissappeared leaving me confused about what are new posts and what are old ones ????

has anyone else had this problem and is there anyway this could be changed at all because it can get very annoying at times when your still down in the gravel trap and all the new posts in the F1 forum have turned out the lights

Doesn't a closed envelope indicate that you have read the topic, while an open envelope indicates that there are new post(s) in the topic since the last time you read it?

Yeah, it tends to happen if I take too long making a post, or doing other things for a few minutes..
