Ok Folks, you've been asking about rules so here they are, as put on the site. If you would like to add another rule, say something against another rule or anything else please do so.
1. All participants must use the same game version as all others, which in this case is EA Sport's F1-2000. 2. All qualifying times and tire selections must be e-mail to administrator no later than 0500 Saturday on weekend of play. 3. All race total times and # of excursions must be e-mail to administrator no later than 0500 Sunday on weekend of play. 4. Points will be awarded in the same way as the FIA Formula 1 Championship points system. 5. The 107% rule will not apply. 6. Steer assist, brake assist, etc. can not be used! 7. Times must be presented to three decimal places.(eg. 1:12.375) Times which are not, such as 1:12.3 will be counted as 1:12.399. Likewise times such as 1:12 will be counted as 1:12.999. 8. Identical Times will be counted in favour of the person who first posted their times. 9. All participants must be members of 10 Tenths Motorsport to take part. 10. Should any participant run afoul of any other member or the administrator then it will mean immediate removal from the F1-2000 championship and possible removal from the 10 Tenths Forum. 11. The administrator has the right to ban any member from this championship. 12. The administrator had the right to make and change rules as he sees fit. 13. Races will be run on the set dates only! 14. Races will consist of 16 laps only. 15. Drivers only get one chance at doing a race. If you retire please just take it and move on1 16. Full realism options must be used except weather which will be chosen by the administrator. 17. For each place down in qualifying a driver is, 0.5 seconds will be added to their total race time. (eg. 15th Place in qualifying = 7.5 secs added to total race time.) 18. For final total race time all race lap times will be added together along with qualifying 'penalty'. Thanks, Ally Mitchell 10 Tenths Championship Website - members.aol.com/jordangp2000 |

Just a couple of points, Ally.
Rules 2, 3, 15 and 16 are going to be very difficult to police. Are you to rely on honesty? Is there any way of confirming settings/times/positions/attempts? I'll take part, but I'm a bit concerned about taking part if I'm gonna be racin' against 'Team Pure Fiction'! And a bit of friendly advice, I'd remove the reference to possible removal from 10 Tenths before Craig sees it! |

Ally, remove the reference to being removed from the 10 Tenths forum in rule #10.
That is a decision for Craig and the administrators alone. |

Until I finish uni in the middle of June theres no way I can't get to a computer between Thursday and Sunday. Therefore more time is requested please to post results. Also this means rule 8 is immediately unfair.
How are the results actually calculated???? |

Well, a lot of these rules suck, and most are straight copied from our AtlasF1 F197 thing.
you're going the wrong way about this Allister. Too bad I'm not here to help huh? |

Ok Folks,
Minardi Fan, in response to your question about posting times, the easy answer is to do the race on the tuesday or wednesday, then send your times early! Also rule 10, that mainly applies for any stupid posts in this forum. It doesn't apply for e-mails. I ask the admins about what had been put in the post and then the admins can decide what happens. I am sure that everybody will be honest but if the time which is fastest is over 0.5 seconds/lap faster or close to that then we will have a look into it! Also Minardi Fan - the results are taken by adding all the lap times together, then your qualifying 'penalty' and then you get your final time. Say you have lap times of , 1:12.124, 1:12.597, 1:11.936 and you started in 15th qualifying place then add the lap times together, 3:36.657 and your 7.5 second qualifying penalty added on gives you a race time of 3:44.157. I hope you all understand this! Ally P.S Anybody else wanna do it? |

Look G-R, I had thought that you would have worked out by now that taking pot shots is not going to work. Please stop disturbing this forum. If you wish to comment then please e-mail me!

I'm not taking pot shots at all.
Just saying what I think of them. But hey, you're running this thing, so do what you want. |
