Vettel certainly seems happier and the Ferrari seems OK so far.

That said, I was looking at last years test times and Kimi was fastest on day one...

And, I must say, Seb is rocking the best helmet design on the grid for some years.

I don't think Red Bull would have stood in his way even if he won the title last year tbf.

probably not, but given Horner's recent comments about Seb during the 2014 season, i feel like they still would have seen him go in a classless way.

maybe just my imagination but when someone leaves the RB family they seem take it very personally.

I must admit to not reading too much of the news recently, but I hadn't detected any animosity in what Horner has been saying.

But yeah, I haven't read everything.

Personally I thought Horner was being quite kind to Vettel in his various interviews last year. Even though Vettel was awful pretty much the whole year Horner stuck by him right to the end, saying Vettel just needed a bit more time/ had bad luck/ stuck in traffic/ . Compare that to how Ron Dennis spoke about Button and I'd say Vettel should be grateful how Horner and RB dealt with him.

Horner seemed matter-of-fact about Vettel leaving. No sentimentality. There's usuallly either sentimentality or the staged commercial sentimentality a team feels the need to project outward to show they are unfazed about things. Horner wasn't rude just brief and resigned about it. I think it took him by surprise and the subtext suggests it did rankle.

It kind of stood in contrast to the gush Horner usually delivers when journalists asked about SB being poached.
