I am really strangely angry about this for some reason. Definitely congratulations to Nico and Sebastian as well but I just think this is an empty end to the GP somehow. The guy who should have won (barring any issues) has been robbed of what should have been a well deserved victory.

The USA will have to wait for a replay later in the
day to see the interviews. Network has gone to
Manchester football.

Really happy for Nicco. Could this be a turning point

It doesn't leave a good taste in the mouth. On the upside, if there indeed can be one, that was a very mature interview from Lewis.

Doing some work so have the Sky post race coverage on in the background. Biased may be a way of describing it. They only showed Lewis' comments in the press conference and didn't show Nico or Sebastian's!!

Not going to be getting a SKY subscription when I buy my house later this year!!

They don't normally show any of the sit down interviews as they have the podium interviews. That was extra reaction

Can you imagine if the media and public carried on like this towards a driver who made a mistake and ruined the race for their team like they have towards merc? So over the top.

In the last 5 minutes of the Sky coverage they have (finally) picked up on what Lewis said during the post race interview that he wanted to pit for tyres.

That being said the team should have told him why it was not a good idea.

At the time the commentary team suggested Mercedes might have been caught out by the real SC coming out rather than the Virtual SC.

What Hamilton said is that he thought he saw the team, on a giant screen, come out in preperation for a pit stop, but the team told him to stay out. He ignored that instruction because he was sure the others would follow him in to the pits. It nows sounds more like that this was a poor decision by him, but he took that decision bcause he didn't think that the old tyres could retain enough heat to hold off the opposition when the Safety Car released them to race again.
