Those last few laps were fantastic - 2 gifted pros pushing to the absolute limit (& probably a bit more at times). That's what racing is all about - good stuff!

Jeez guys he brushed the wall at turn 8 and broke the steering. Plenty of experienced guys have done that. Lay off him after one race!

People love to hate these 2 but they are pure racers, they both enjoyed the fair contest today, and how was Jamie's reaction to JC's slide in turn 8? Epic!

Looks like it's been neck and neck for most of the weekend between Waters and Deadpool. I wonder if PRA are still happy with their choice to get rid of Mr. Reynolds for ENZED window strips.

Pither is out for the weekend, spare car for the Grand Prix, and was apologetic to the team:

http://www.speedcafe.com/2016/03/05/...ay-race-crash/

Brush on the left plucked the steering and he couldn't avoid the wall on the other side.

So is KRE still building donks for Triple Eight as well? If so, what's LDM doing to make their's not as reliable than their Red Bull/Caltex brethren?

4th in 2014 DVS with only 1 retirement
5th in 2015 DVS wtih no retirements

A win in each season, which was dominated by Waters & Dumbrell.

I'm prepared to give the guy a chance.

Triple Eight's motors are still very much sourced from KRE.

LDM's are still coming from Noonan at this stage.

The difference between LDM and BJR, who also use Noonan units, is that LDM are probably running them close to, if not beyond, their usable service life to save a bit of money in the short term.

Could've been 4th last year too, had he not been told to sit out the final round thanks to a bit too much seat time in the main game.

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
James Courtney put it into the wall at his First Clipsal, today he won (not the first time) lets give pither a break , Its not like andre set the world on fire

Andre was last in every race last year at Clipsal, Chris did better than that in race 1

and i dont really care about either, just bored with the dripping taps

Andre may have been last in every race at Clipsal last year as you mentioned, but at least he started all 3 races and brought the car home without a huge repair bill. Unlike Pither this year.

For me Pither has been there about's only because of his backing.

You know what though? You can refine a guy's driving who is fast, but you can't make a guy fast who just isn't. Sometimes in order to learn the limits you have to step over them. Very small error yesterday had a big cost, but that is motor racing.

Heimgartner had 3 DNFs last year, and showed some decidedly dodgy driving at times, including taking out his own teammates.

What a great couple of races as usual at Adelaide. Race 2 battle for lead the highlight for me. Hope the main race continues the excitement
