Brushpusher should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Silverstone - Where do I park the caravan then?

Just got my tickets through for BARC at Silverstone next weekend. I haven't marshalled Silverstone before so I have a few questions:

Where can I park my Caravan?
Will I be able to get in on Friday night?
Is there mains electricity or will I need my generator?
Can I take my dog or do the usual Octagon Rules apply?

The meeting is on the Stowe Circuit.

Thanks in advance,

Tony & Co.

There is a new marshals campsite for this season but I don't know exactly where it is. You will probably need your generator and as far as i know the normal octagon rules apply with regards to dogs. However, the best person to answer your questions will be Pam Dearn, u can contact her by email on Pam.Dearn@brdc.co.uk

I would guess (but I'm probebly wrong) but you may be best to put your van down by the stowe circuit, but I would still check with Pam as for the other questions I can answer:
Yes no problem, You are really hoping, and not a chance.

At least the M1 will be quieter than the M25 marker post!!

(SSS - Do you know which marker post is nearest to Lydden then? I may dump some spare motorcycle tyres there!)

Anyone know anymore on this? I spoke to Pam today, and her answer was "I don't know, talk to Octagon." Given what I've seen of Octagons idea of camping facilities, that don't sound to hopeful.
