That's still only hald a dozen and a couple of those are questionable on outright ability. I agree with jondownunder, big shame about Magnussen.

Well, Marussia are paying his budget so he will race wherever they see fit. Of course a number of teams wanted to test him but with MP having a relationship with Manor they are first priority.

I could imagine that Ericsson will drive for Caterham if he will be F1 test driver there...

Yes, but I can's really see that happen. I think he will become test driver and GP2 driver for Caterham.,

What??!!!!

Let's hope he makes the most of that opportunity, because there's nowhere to hide now.

A wasted couple of seats there.

Come on chunt, that's a bit harsh, Palmer was easily a match for Nasr this year and Richelmi came on leaps and bounds, Palmer will definitely be a title contender.

I really don't see anything remarkable about Jolyon, nice lad as he seems to be. I am not convinced one bit that GP2 has been showing us the real picture for a number of years now. There is no way that Palmer is a 'real' match for the likes of Nasr. I must be missing something!

Richelmi has come on you're right and I had imagined he might have a top season, but it never worked out that way, so I don't know?

GP2 hasn't been showing us the real picture for a while. Nasr should've gone to FR3.5, because he would be a frontrunner in that, and his consistency would be very, very useful. He has far more talent than Palmer, although there have been occasions when Palmer has had the edge.

Before Spa, Nasr was clearly ahead during every weekend and Palmer only came on late when Nasr seemed to fade. Palmer only looked better during the last two races and maybe Monza, that doesn't really convince me in the current climate of GP2.

Not sure i agree there Beryl, over the course of the season Nasr outqualified Palmer 6 - 5, pretty even, don't forget Monaco when Jolyon outqualified him but didn't actually get to start the race due to the Cecotto debacle, they both had three feature race podiums and in two of them they where both on the podium with Palmer on a higher step. I happen to think Nasr fading had more to do with Palmer getting up to speed than anything else, and the Singapore feature race must have been very hard for him to take.
