Stone Man should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Silverstone Church Bells

In the last few years Silverstone now allows Practice on a Sunday morning. Previously the engines were not allowed to be fired up before 11 or 12 Noon I seem to remember. Can anyone tell me how this came about and how they get away with the 15-20 Min "Church Bells" break in the session.

In the earlier years, no racing (including the Grand Prix,) was allowed at Silverstone on a Sunday....

I'm going to move this over to Trackside as it will probably receive a better response.

It all seems a little random. At one point I understood that one day Sunday meetings could commence at 9am with a Church Bells break, but other sources indicate that isn't the case. And two day meetings can't start until 11ish on a Sunday unless, it seems, they are promoted events.

But like I say, it seems a little random.
