Welcome, Niall, and just to save you the trouble of asking when you strike it, TGF stands for 'That German Fellow', your mate in the Ferrari... saves hitting the wrong keys too often...

Welcome, Niall, its grand to have you here. As Ray has already dispensed with the TGF explanation, I think you will find this to be a friendly and civilized place. step over to the gravel trap for a beer and a chat, but watch out for AMoffat, AKA Muff, Muffy., Moff, Muffster. He's become our little mascot since he's been allowed weekends out of the asylum.

Welcome Niall! I should warn you now I am England's greatest fan of Italy's greatest team - and I don't mean Ferrari.

And I am also Kimi Raikkonen's official stalker. Yay!

Ditto - welcome! I am a fan of the Two Red Cars, but I do not support TGF. I try to be reasonably civil about it though.

Weigh in on the rapidly-approaching-novel-length argument about Bernoldi v. DC - everyone else has!

P.S. We're much nicer than SeventhGear.

Welcome to 10 Tenths Niall. There are no prizes awarded for guessing who my favourite driver is (and suggestions that I am a TGF supporter as well as a Ralf supporter are answered violently ). I am the resident Ralfisti (I am forever indebted to AMoffat for my wonderful nickname - far more interesting than my real name) on the forum, and I hope you shall enjoy many an intelligent discussion here on the boards.

You may not have an intelligent discussion with me unless it contains the word "Ralf".

Never knew they made German gits, thought it was an English exclusive, and always prefaced by the word 'pommie'... But I can be readjusted to accept all things, if necessary.

Maybe 'git' is a bit hard on him, but he certainly deserves to be remembered for his actions at Adelaide that day. As does Senna for what he did to Nigel there...

Its time to forget such old grudges...especially when it happened some 5 years ago and Damon Hill almost a forgotten person..to me..~

But hey hey! Welcome aboard Niall!
I'm a clear supporter of Ferrari and Michael Schumacher...and can get quite long winded when sh*tting for them!

Dunt hate any of them drivers...but a few less than favourable opinions on the current grid. (psst...DC!!)

FERRARI RULES!!!

Where did TGF come from???

Where I come from MS = schumi, Montoya = inigo. There are others, but not F1 ones.

A phrase coined by Liz in 1999, I do believe.

...as Ralf's Girl says. It was coined to refer to the presence waiting in the wings due to injury as Hakkinen and Irvine competed for the WDC. i.e. "Irvine seems to have Ferrari's support now, but what will happen when That German Fellow returns in Malaysia".

TGG is well bestest!!!!!!!!

as uve guessed i dont like schumacher!!
i always tend to go for underdogs or people like montoya (yes i know hes a young schumacher but i loved the look on his face after his first race in an f1 car!)

i saw raikonnen race in formula renault last year and was a fan since then (as u can imagine, i was over the moon when he got an f1 drive so soon in his career!)
