I think the one that will stick with me was Verstappen's drive in Brazil. He didn't do too shabbily today, either!

Memorable, sure. But championship defining? I am not so sure, since Rosberg was ahead, and could have gone on to win that race too.

Some championship defining moments were
* Singapore - were Nico despite Ricciardo closing. One of his best wins IMO.
* Brazil - where Nico hung on, despite being not at ease at all
* Sepang, obviously
* today, obviously

Also Monaco could have been very decisive, where Nico let Lewis past (when the team asked him) because he was not at ease in the rain. Lewis then went on to just beat Ricciardo. Those 7 extra points could have been very valuable/costly - depending on your point of view

And like this there will be a lot of race that had defining moments. What if ...

Yep moment of the year for me too, plus Verstappen taking the win.

Nothing much else will be burned into my head to be honest, maybe just the tense finale.

LH engine failure in Malaysia - you could see at the time the LH thought it had lost him the championship, and he was right.

By coincidence found myself talking to one of the designers of the Merc engine (The electric powertrain) at a careers fair at my old school the other day. They got some serious flak over that failure. Interesting chat on the whole!

The Mercedes tangle in Spain. It's probably when Lewis realised that things weren't going to go all his own. Two teammates taking each other out is always pretty shocking - the last time that happened was Webber and Vettel at Turkey a few years ago.

It's one of those jaw dropping moments.

The Malaysian Grand Prix - particularly loved the Red Bull battle, which was immediately followed by Hamilton's retirement, which turned the tide on the race that saw Rosberg spun around at the first corner...
The Brazilian Grand Prix
Rosberg crossing the line to take the WDC despite Hamilton's train of cars

All in all I very much enjoyed this season. Here's hoping 2017 just increases the competition without affecting the potential of wheel to wheel racing we've seen from 2014-16.

I would have to give my moment to the Red Bulls in Sepang though. I don't know why but I loved that.
