Tristan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Can someone fill me in as to what happened at Monza??

The answer sounds like "not a lot", but I DID watch the race on Italian telly and didn't understand a word that was going on. So, what happened?? Anything much??

(The Gazetta the next day gave Alex Yoong a great write-up!! Only Minardi would bring a car in to their garage, fix the problem and six laps later send the car back out again!! HURRAH FOR FAENZA!!)

Basically it was exciting for 6 laps, then was dull.

I didn't REALLY get what happened to Massa and Montoya. All I hear is hitting curbs too hard and wounded suspension. But surely hitting a serrated curb doesn't bend the suspension?? I saw him go out and I saw why, but I didn't understand the cause.

Ferrari won. Rubens was predictably gifted the race to enhance his chances of finishing second in the WDC. The Ferraris just toyed with the field, proven by the fact that their lap times yo-yoed more than ever seen before. The rest were nowhere. The tifosi were exstatic (only positive point, seeing such passion).

Their suspension layout is too low because of the raised nosecone design

Montoya ploughed thru a gravel-trap and went over kerbs several times... Massa went into a gravel-trap too but couldnt get out.

Jags qualified 5th and 7th, de la Rosa was taken out by Massa and Irvine kept out of trouble to finish third. Although you probably understood that bit

* suddenly surrounded by dozens of angry Massa fans*
