Carlos Checa still doing the business. This time at Misano. Biaggi is right there though. Maybe we'll see a good duel between the two Italian bikes. Vermuelen is back, but still looking slow. Toseland is out again.

Lowes and Davies on top of supersport. No Scassa because of a penalty for testing at the circuit.

Not at all. He took part in some kind of trackday at the circuit, which breeched some testing rule that is in place. Penalty was he had to miss the race.

To be hoinest that has been the pattern this year. The factory Ducati and Checa are pretty much dominant on most tracks and Biaggi is up to his usual form of leading, making mistakes and letting people through.

It is funny, I dont remember him making so many mistakes in 250 and 50 days. Maybe he is getting too old.

Fair play to Checa though, he is shoing a level of speed, maturity and relaxation never before seen in his entire career, he fully deserves his time an d fully deserves his world title

Also good to see Badovini getting in there, always believed this kid has the right stuff.

WSBK obviously dont need an official factory Ducati team with the way Ducati are going - why they so much better than the other bikes??? Thought those days where long gone...
Good to see a Kawasaki win in Supersport aswell ending the Yamaha run of wins - competitive series this year it is...

Gom, Checa's bike is a factory Ducati, simple as that. He has the same engineers and people in the garage as Bayliss and Haga did. And the Althea team runs two bikes in Superstock, just as Xerox did out of the same garage.

Erni Marinelli is there, he just doesnt wear team clothing!! And you can tell it's a factory team coz Falappa is always hanging around too!!

I know its a factory bike, but its not the factory team - they pulled out last year. Althea raced last year as a privateer team, now they have a factory bike!

Question is, why is this years Duke dominating against the other factory bikes?

You aint listening dude, it is a factory team! Most of the mechanics are Xerox, as are most of the engineers, and they are far more of them than last year with two bikes!

Its dominating coz its a newer bike for this year and Checa is the best rider out there. BMW are rubbish, Suzuki are too, Honda is too old and the bike is crap and Max makes too many stupid mistakes!

Yamaha are the closest nut have 2 new riders who dont know the bike/tracks

Under the skin, you said it yourself... Althea are not "known" as the factory team - because they pulled out at the end of last year! Mechanics & engineers have been used, so they should be!

Seeing you have all the answers, why did the factory team of 2010 say they where pulling out of WSB - Valentino must have come a bit cheaper

This is semantics. No, they're not the factory team. It's not really been said if Ducati are giving them money, but I doubt they are. They are however giving them a bike, technicians and engineers. And it seems like the structure is very similar, given the superstock team and such. So they're factory supported in a way.

OK then

Althea were running Shakeys GSE bikes last year! So to be running a full on 2010/11 factory bike this year with the same engineeer that was in the garage with Bayliss, Haga and Fabrizio tells me one thing.

The Althea team might not be officially the factory team as they will no dount come abck in the future with a newer machine.

But, Ducati ARE WSBK and always have been. That bike is exactly the same as the bike would have been this year were it in Xerox colours and the people invovled are the same.

The Xeorx team have always run a two rider Superstock effort, it's where Simeon, Canepa, Roberts came from and hey presto Athea are doing the same! That is probably all pushed their way by the factory. Althea remember were struggling for money two years ago, now all of a sudden can afford ex Corse engineers and a two rider Stock team! lol

Ducati Corse run their outfit exactly the same as Aprilia did in 250/125. With one big difference! You do get to own the bike!! So Scassa was on the Bayliss bike from 2009 last year. I think the Liberty bikes are ex Xerox too.

But they supply the bike, spares, backup and loads of things for a serious wedge, as Aprilia and HRC do in GP. But you do keep the bike at the d of it, it's not a lease deal. Hence why a bloke in Kent has about 20 Ducati Corse 916 and 999 models!!
