Peter Harding should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
750MC Brands - 19 June

1. The tickets for this meeting have not yet arrived from Brands and the current info is that I will get them Thursday or Friday. That means that they will not get to you until after the weekend.

2. The timetable is causing a problem because 90 Stock hatches are entered and other grids are oversubscribed. The club is juggling this to fit everything in but this should mean full grids most of the day and, maybe, some combining or scrapping of any small entry catagories.

Please be patient about the tickets because you will be rewarded by a great days racing.

Peter can you add me to the list as I hope to make this meeting. Not sure whether I have already volunteered or not?

If Cadwell was anything to go by, Umberellas & Fire Extinguishers might be needed a lot as well!

Sorry to say it doesn't quite work like that!
Any fines I impose go to my Lords & Masters @ Runway One (A.K.A The MSA)
If you dont believe me try: Z 13.7 on page 286 of The Blue Book.
The number of entrys for this meeting is an interesting problem for Club Secretary Robin Knight to solve. The Licence only allows 30 cars to start a race, so if the entry is above that, we have heats etc as in the Stock Hatch's, mind you, dont you think it's better that way, than single figure grids?

Well I for one can't wait for the 19th to come round. 2 months off makes me restless... I've found myself rolling about on people's gravel drives to get a kick but it's just not the same.

Tickets arrived yeasterday, but not the finals.
Got them sent by email this morning, did the invite letter and started stuffing envelopes and sticking labels.
Got to last few and realised the letter was headed "Saturday" 19 June.
Had to open them all and change Saturday to Sunday.
Yet another senior moment!!!
Still, it's all done now and in post for 5.15pm pick up.

OK - fedback is that my letter was ****. Not only the wrong date but the times for sign on etc were Saturdays when racing is Sunday and therefore start of practice is 10.00, so

Sign on should be 8.30 to 9.20. Briefing is 9.30.

As I messed up, I will try and get there before 8.00 to catch those who didn't realise the mistake(s), but it won't be easy as I am travelling back from Exeter on Friday and doing the paperwork that night.

What a nice day with good racing and a chance to meet some more Ten-Tenther's.

Sorry to those of you no post 7 for my early departure in the morning, but in the end I didn't leave the circuit. My Le Mans problems sorted themselves out.

And now for a record 1 hour to travel 8 miles who can beat that.

The M25 a Motorway slower now than with a horse and cart

I once did a 2 miles in an hour...!

Sounds like you had a good meeting...due to the heat i didn't get a lot of packing done, but glad I didn't come down...the M25 sounds like it was wonderful!

Luckily I missed the M25 However, 9 hours in the sun with no shade has left me with a slightly sore neck this morning

Thanks to Falcemob and the rest of my team for a great day. Post 3 had very few incidents to deal with but we were treated to some very good racing (unlike the USA), especially from the Stock Hatch guys.

Agreed - good racing although the Stock Hatches did fall off a few times between posts 6 & 7. The Morgan carving his way back through the field after an early off was excellent. I also enjoyed the US GP as much as ever (which is not at all) but it's something to fall asleep in front of, and not have to worry that I've missed anything.
