Where the nearest track to/in Essex?

Ok, my mum always told me not to talk to strangers. But did I listen - no.

So anyway, having a bit of an IM on AOL and ended promising to find out where there is a race track near Essex.

HELP.

And is anybody bothering to fill in there GP forms just in case there is a BGP 2004?

How about Arena Essex? I don't know if it's still running the Hot Rods, Bangers, etc as the website hasn't been updated for a long time, but it still does do speedway.

I guess you've missed that one!

Volunteering forms for 2005 should still be submitted - if there IS a BGP then your work is done!

Can you specify which part of Essex.
From say Tilbury; then its Brands followed, possibly, by Lydden for Tarmac type circuits (Arena Essex for bangers).
From Colchester, Brands and Snetterton are about the same distance (with arena Essex, Ipswich and Swaffham featuring in the non-tarmac class)

Possibly the closest race track to you is the A11 or M25. They do have some club events at North Weald?

It once took me 5 hours to drive from J27 to J28 on the M25 - There was less overtaking than F1! Its no race track!

Ipswich and Swaffham are Tarmac - I know I was at Ipswich on Satuday night and raced at Swaffham earlier in ther year.

There is also an old sprint course at whethersfield
