Bill asked if he could enter the two cars and he was allowed to as we don't think classes A and E will be racing together. As far as I know the splits haven't been decided yet, but will be very soon!

Looks like A,B and I together, with C,D and E in the other group. 37 entries at present, listed (you know where), so room for some more. Its going to be a real saloon car festival now that the single seaters are cancelled. All the grids are filling up nicely so it should be a good couple of days.

Got to try and find a way to get out of work on the Saturday somehow-gonna be hard! Will be good to see peeps like JohnW and all-havn't seen the BeeEms this year...in fact probably last time was at Lydden with my famous pic of the car ending up on its side beneath the Demolition sign! Trying to suss out how to post some pics...have some nice ones of Mr.Pipe in deepest Essex adding some ballast in the form of about 20 bacon and egg rolls...apparently will help with traction if its wet

just got my finals; Thanks to BARC-SE for getting them out early. Can stay in bed till 6.30am now, instead of having to get up at 4am!! No rain dances guys. A dry day will be good. Just done a final check on the Fiesta. Itching to get stuck in on the track. No "Armchair Richardson" competing?! He must have heard how quick the Fiesta was and bottled (lol)! Make sure teh Video is working Eric.

there is a rumour the Grichie's new sponsor is DFS! We even suggested he fit a 2-seater recliner in the front of the Nova.

Blimey on a 1 mile twisty little circuit how much advantage do you little guys want (thats why I am not entering the Chevy). If it rains the 4wd's will romp away anyhow.

got to agree with Al there, i've been in both the lower powered nibble car camp and the big horsepower one at lydden and that place definatly favours the smaller nimble cars

Thats probably why Rob's car is so all conquering because it hacks it on all tracks, big, small, wet or dry. A car for all seasons.

I thought that the theory was that for racing on road in the dry transmission loses outweighed traction advantages. What about Subaru's, has anyone tried one of these for circuit work? I remember I used to lap Lydden faster in a 1700cc Talbot than a Camaro :-(
