Just got home from the track, had a good day.

Parked somewhere i have never parked before, car parks were very wet

2 big incidents as seen on tv. Massive incident in the battle for 22nd, Not sure if it appeared on tv or only at the track but Brad, while not mentioning blame was very dissapointed that the incident would even happen, Stanaway had jsut put a good move on premat seconds before the crash, but it ended up not counting as the track went red. They went really quickly with the red, no messing about on that at all

missed out on a fair bit of racing today due to incidents on the wet track

Is turn 6 now the most dangerous corner in supercars? Seems to be we now we ask who is going to get bit by the corner, not if

We cleaned up turn 8 at Clipsal, is there a need for a change here

Maybe something like the single file rule. Would have fixed up yesterdays supercars crash, but the not the TCM crash.

I know the end result was bad, and Jono probably shouldn't have been trying it on there, but this was more of a "racing" incident than some of the driving we saw (Shae Davies).

I guess it was reckless, but I feel like the punishment came for the end result not the action that caused it.

there has to be a better way. I get that they need to fix the safety problem, but 40 minutes to replace the tyres, thats ridiculous

If Sandown as a venue wasn't on life support, there would be so many changes that they have to make to have a safe venue. Swept under the rug for the moment, as an upgrade demand would just shut the place down earlier.

You hate to criticize, but the time taken to rebuild the barrier is getting quite excessive.

it looks like the armco is a big issue, most tracks would ahve updated to concrete walls with tyre barries in front by now.

Spot-on.

It's about as good as it gets, at this point.

Unless CAMS, the FIA, and presumably SC will want a hand in it, can come up with a simple, cost-effective way of improving the safety there, I reckon it'll stay as is.

5 second penalty for 55. seems a bit wrong based on footage we have seen. Would like to see a better angle that race control seem to have used
