Drink Rolling Chassis..Anyone?

Hi One little question. Instead of buying a car and preparing it for race. Can we buy a new rolling chassis?

I means newly made ones preferably re-makes of some great potent cars like old ford escort or capri or some late 80 or 90 Lancia's or anything.

Anyone that makes brand-new copies for race applications?? I havent found any. only kit-cars whose quality could be questionable in most cases.

Sorry Sorry..I found out (I called them - they were very friendly) that those guys dont "manufacture" brand new copies.

they purchase used escort chassis (or can work on yours if you've got one) refurbish them tom make them look like new (or I would say better).

then they can be preparedfor whatever application.

Cheers,

Is this the sort of thing you had in mind? A spaceframe Escort made by SHP engineering.

Sort of. I'm already aware of those guys.

This is actualy a space frame on which you have to fit a fiberglass body tub, just to give it the look.

I was looking for a body shell (a real chassis). the link provided above can refurbish an existing used escort body to make it new again. I called them twice they were very informative and friendly too.

There are also another supplier who stocks escorts body shells thst can be prepared for your application.

check this :

Thanks
