Jack65 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Is it me or is this bringing out into the open things that are best kept behind closed doors a bit undignified? When off-contracts drivers start talking about 'other options out there' or 'having a couple of irons in the fire' it's just code for 'trying to pump up my stocks so my current team will offer what I want'. The teams and driver managers all know which drivers and seats are in play, can't see the benefit of airing the dirty laundry in public.

And it can backfire, even though he probably wasn't going to be at WR in 2017 anyway, Garth Tander stating that he knew where he was going to be next year after winning Sandown, led to WR announcing its 2017 drivers sooner than may have planned, which created a fairly toxic environment between team and driver at Bathurst.

Moffat's done for me. I'm surprised how quick 33 has come along for him and in reality he's done bugger all. Co-driver only gig is his future.

Yes. If Davison was out of a seat and Moffat stayed, there really would be something very wrong with the world.

Good point, change of owner ship, could see him him back in super 2's.
If he has any ability , if would be worth fostering this in the support category, maybe send him to Europe fro driving enhancement like cam Waters.

I did doubt him at the start, but he hasn't caused major incidents, unlike some at the other end of the grid. He might be something in a few years.
As they say footy, takes 100 games to find your niche. five years of toiling your trade to get to the top.

Moffat's salary demands are more reasonable than Davison's, this would also affect employability as a Supercars driver.

Surely if WP are going to go down a similar road to DJR you would be apprehensive to move and more excited at the challenge?
I guess you could be apprehensive to stay too but with that amount of knowledge comming their way im might be worth another crack.

Walkinshaw without a GT or JC, might be a happier place for W.Davo.

SDS won't go, because there's money in that gig.

The Kellys aren't going anywhere for obvious reasons.

Does Mr Caruso hold enough of a profile to keep Nissan interested?

Caruso signed a two year contract at the end of the last season, so I guess they'd have to break his contract to get someone else in (or do a swap?) The same applies to both the Walkinshaw drivers (Courtney is signed until 2019, Pye signed on a "multi-year deal" for this year so two seasons probably.)

Hmm, that would free up a space for Davison, Moffat or Slade to drive the Advam/GB car.

I would be inclined to select Moffat over Wilbur, as Moffat is probably a less abrasive personality and Erebus are doing well with Reynolds as the number one driver... They don't need two roosters in the chook shed!

Do Erebus need a sponsor for car though, In which case which one is bringing one. Or will someone else
