I've never seen Drifting so I'm looking forward to July 19th at Lydden.

You'll really enjoy it, I know I did when I went to see some at Silverstone last year

So - how was it? I was at Combe with the DMN crowd so I missed it - I'd imagine it'd be quite impressive around the north bend? (Mr Thurston drifts round there quite nicely anyway - makes a change for someone else to have a go!)

Which bit weren't you impressed with?
Standard of preparation, quality of entry, or on track action.

To be honest, it just didnt appeal to me.
Some of the cars were great like the autoglim Starlet and the pro class, some were a bit rough but you get that at any motorsport event.
I just could not see the point of it but thats just my view and it drew a good crowd.
Not quite sure why lydden bothered painting the white line a few weeks ago as they are now black!

Started at Chessons just before rally x circuit exit, turned right on cut through on old short circuit at foot of hill and finished by race startline.

That sounds a bit boring. It might have been more exciting if they had started at the point where the rallycross track splits off, and gone all the way around Chessons, or alternatively carried on past the startline and finished in front of the paddock offices.
