Jamesy-18 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, Round One, Sakhir

Is it too early to make this thread yet? I thought I remembered from last year that it was a week before the race that you could make the thread?

I think we can give you this one...does anybody want to add the usual links to weather forecasts, live timing etc? Where are our usual race thread geeks?!

Oh well, I have two links for anybody who wants to join in the fun:
Predictions Competition
Fantasy F1 Competition

Hey, it's tradition.

But anyway, any thoughts on what we're going to see next weekend? I haven't decided what my prediction should be yet, and I really have no idea what to expect!

Was it not 2006 when it was a actually quite chilly on the saturday and there was like a 20% chance of rain??

Remember Qatar Moto GP last year??

Saying that, its gonna be a dry, dusty (and boring race (as always))

Welcome back Formula 1, we've missed you.

At least the front runners will have some rolling chicanes to deal with this year that could add some element of unpredictability to it

Michael Schumacher will arrive rather late in Bahrain this week. Most drivers land on Monday, Schumacher on Wednesday.
Schumacher seems very occupied with his KSM karting team : this weekend he was spotted in Genk, Belgium.

If Michael Schumacher is trying to discover his successor, i can see why he's putting the effort in, but from those photos, he just looks like he's entered his mid-life crisis

Actually, thats probably why he's back in F1.

Also i think the Hispania may surprise some of you disbeleivers

Here some more photos of a relaxed 'old German bloke' in Genk today.
Is there an F1 race next week?
