Correct: a forecast of cool, frosty but sunny days should see a nice big crowd, but if the 35 mm that fell in the last 3 days hasn't soaked in, the infield will be greasy as Big Trev suggested.
I hope the new garages have had the concrete apron ramps poured, or they could get quite messy. |

Can anyone give me some advice on where will be the best place to view the racing.
We are involved in a club display with the cars being parked behind the main grandstand(only have GA Paddock Pass tickets) but we don't want to sit too far away from the cars. Cheers. |

there is no one best place to sit and watch the race.
But around th grandstand should give you 75% coverage of the track. take your tv and you get whatever the tv shows (live) |

Hope that weather forecast is right.
Should be a great weekend of racing. Good support categories and possibly the most open round of the year. Being the test track for the Victorian Teams should help them against the 888 juggernaught but you get plenty of track time these days so the Qld teams should be able to dial their cars in. Teams like GRM, Tasman and BJR will be up close this weekend but FPR should be favourites. Look for an overdue improvement from Jason Bright. He had good pace in Hamilton, is usually strong at Winton and may be getting on top of the difficult SBR machine. But as usual the man they all have to beat will be the man in the No. 1 |

Anywhere from T 2 right through to T9 gives you a great vantage point, but be prepared for some walking ! |

i think that is very good by Paul, ease the responsibilities onto him & and it is hard to start your main game career learning the car and series at street circuits with nothing but concret each side of you. having said that though Tim wants to pull his finger out and start finishing races.

Rachel, I don't think you'll have any problems with the cold mornings......you'll have Trev and Mick to keep you warm.
