Nordschleife Sprint Races
Apart from the Nurburgring 24 hours, are there any other races on the Nordschleife, like there used to be a round of the DTM on there.
Is the track still allowed to be used all that often, it would be great to see the DTM, V8STAR or DTC, maybe even run a round of the ETCC on the track. |

Has been my dream for ages... Though I guess it is too expensive for the organisers... Imagine the costs for example to hire all marshals for the unbeliveable long track...

There is a season long series of about 7 rounds.For cars simlar to those that run in the 24hrs.So you might be able to run anything bar a single seater! Langstreckenpokal-or long circuit cup. Seem to have lost the web site address though.

I think the DTC have a non-championship round there once every year, as a support race to the 24 Hours rings a bell.

It was a championship round this year and televised.The various one make tin-top series also ran -all together in one race but released in separate batches!

This years 24 hr race is on this weeks Sky sports Motorpsort program (the 2 1/2 hour long one) as well as the euroboss round from Brands, if that is a help to anyone
