chow wei hsien should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
i am posting this just to further prove and reinforce many people's view on the fact that whoever is Schumi's teammate is going to have a hard time on their confidence.
Rubens in 2000 is gonna be a perfect example for that.

lets look at race by race in 2000 if Schumi ISN'T racing:

Melbourne 2000
headlines: Rubens wins the first race of his life in his first race for Ferrari

Interlagos 2000
headlines: Rubens overtook Mika for the lead in Brazil before retiring with mechanical problems

Imola 2000
headlines: Rubens managed to keep one Mclaren(DC) behind him for most of the race.

Silverstone 2000
headlines: Rubens got his first pole of his career and brilliantly leading the Silverstone grand prix for Ferrari before retiring due to mechanical failure again.

Nurburgring 2000
headlines: Rubens hounds DC throughout the race. Keeping Ferrari's championship hopes alive.

Catalunya 2000
headlines: Rubens got stucked behind Ralf and lost all the chances of beating Mclaren

Monaco 2000
headlines: Rubens and Ferrari's championship dream alive with brilliant 2nd place after getting stucked behind slower cars at early part of the race

Canada 2000
headlines: Rubens superb in the wet as he beats the 2 Mclarens

France 2000
headlines: Rubens still managed to finish on the podium despite problems with tyre wear

Austria 2000
headlines: Rubens overcame first corner crash to finish brilliantly on podium

Hockeinheim 2000
headlines: Rubens won from 18th on the grid

Hungary 2000
headlines: McLarens again prove to be too good in the twisty circuit as Rubens again keep the pressure on Mclaren with another third place.

Spa 2000
headlines: Ferrari dreams shattered as Rubens has problems in qualifying and in the race ending in DNF

Monza 2000
headlines: Rubens qualified brilliantly on pole infront of the Tifosi , before involving in 1st lap crash

Indy 2000
headlines: Rubens won another GP after another slow start. Rubens was 8th at the beginning stage of the race. never count Rubens out while he is still in the race. Ferrari hopes alive again as Mika DNFs

Suzuka 2000
headlines: Mika crowned WDC for the 3rd time in succession as Rubens couldn't live with the Mclaren today

Sepang 2000
headline: Rubens never gave up and tried everything he can to stay with DC

That was four wins for Rubens in 2000 if Schumi is not there, so in fact Rubens had a brilliant first year with Ferrari. Schumi really overshadowed Rubens

The difference is if Schumi wasn't racing in 2000 is, Rubens put up the challenge for 2000 WDC, while Schumi won the WDC brilliantly for Ferrari.

Interesting piece of work Chow, it reminds me of a conversation we had a couple of weeks ago when I hazarded the opinion that Rubens is actually quite good really, its just that Schuey's a bit better.
