arakis has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Great showing for the Ferrari AF corsa 2010 test car, victory with 40sec to spare

Indeed splendid result for the first race of the F430 "end 2009" version: victory with 40 sec advantage on Porsche and with 90 kg ballast.

shame on Vitaphone, stopping the 33 to let Bartels/Bertolini pass ! enough from team orders, now with the off of PEKA its quite impossible for the Belgian/Dutch team to win GT1 ! and getting it worse Corvette teams never help each others, while at Maserati...

Didn't they do this the race before as well? Or was it the one before that? Anyway, it seems they've done it twice at least in order to pad their points. Vitaphone has an army of mechanics and attendants while PeKa has 2 mechanics and just enough crew-men to man the jacks and hoses. Shame that Vitaphone have to stoop to team orders in order to beat such a small team. I guess if you've got it, flaunt it.

Yes, very impressive. DKR are doing a wonderful job setting up this car and Bernoldi is quite a revelation. Many of these tracks are new to him and he is flat out flying in every race.

Huh? The Corvette teams are teams! The Maseratis are a team, two totally different things!

Obviously he knows this, he's just mentioning how it's much harder for single 1 car teams to compete against a 3 car juggernaut.

What?? Sorry did we read the same post? Cause I clearly see an implication that the Corvette teams should band together against the Masers!

Fantastic!! Way to go DKR! Bernoldi is adjusting really well to the Corvette. Kudos also to SRT for getting another podium. And AF Corse wraps up the Teams's Championship in GT2. Splendid.

That's two wins in one days for that particular car. It won the 2nd FFSA GT a few hours before the FIA GT race.

DKR came 2nd in that race. SRT won. Unless SRT was excluded for some reason...

After a stop, the 61 car needed external help for starting engine. This is forbidden.

Erm, yes, I forgot. DKR was leading and the SRT car passed it on the last lap.

It's interesting that the #1 is not on that list! Don't the #1 and #2 get fuel from the same source before it is put into the storage tank for the race? Is this more of an attempt to get the #1 the Championship? Makes one wonder. Same goes for the #50 and #51. The conspiracy theorists must be having a field day.

Not trying to be boring and unconspiracytheoretical (if that's not a word, it should be one), but aren't fuel analyses a routine procedure?

I'm not sure what the protocol is but when they add a asterisk at the bottom of the results and say "provisional pending the results of fuel analysis of cars 2, 3, 4, 8, 50 and 60" it makes one wonder. If a fuel analyses is routine, why wouldn't it be for all cars? Seems to me this would normally be accomplished quite quickly. I don't believe I've ever seen this after the results are posted before. Anyway, you are probably right and I'm just a bit nutty.

I doubt it's you. Virtually after every race they do this. And it's always the Prospeed Porsche and some others, but this time it's now all the 'Vettes and the AF Ferrari.

Yes, fuel checks are standard procedure, and I'm fairly certain they're checking the podium teams.
