That's some funky maths by Ferrari. Are they just adding a huge chunk of money onto the base GTE price then? Or are you actually getting less by converting a GT3 to GTE?

It seems a few Le Mans drivers and team owners have faced criminal charges and spent time in prison. How many can you name ?
Here's a few to get you started with their charges : Don & Bill Whittington (Owners and drivers of the winning Porsche in 1979) : Drug Smuggling Randy Lanier (Driver in T-Bird Racing Ferrari in 1982) : Drug Smuggling Bertrand Gachot (Driver from 1990 -1997) : Assault Rohan Skea (Owner of Skea Racing International Porsche in 2000) : Fraud Scott Tucker (Owner of Level 5 Motorsport from 2011 -2013) : Fraud |

I don't know if that counts, but Jaime Melo Jr spent a few hours in jail.

Jon Field was sentenced but not really clear from what I can find as to how much time he actually served.
And I guess JJ Lehto escaped hard time. |

And Lucas Luhr found himself visiting a Georgia county slammer for an evening.
But I think if we count that, there might be a VERY long list. And I'm guessing the 70s and 80s have a long list of drivers/felons |

I forgot Christophe Dechavanne (Venturi 500 LM 1993 with Laffite and Maisonneuve), a well known TV showman in France.

When was the last time that the winning car at Le Mans hasn't neither tested or raced at Sebring?
I know that the Audis, Peugeot and the 919 did it, Bentley and BMW raced there too. I don't know much about the development of 90's sportscars, so I don't really have the asnwer for this... |

The current version of the 919 (2015-now) hasn't tested at Sebring. I would suggest that Porsche and Toyota rectify that next year, because of how much it helped Audi and Peugeot over the years.

Earl Bamber has raced twice at Le Mans and won both times. Is there anyone else with the same stats?

Bamber has raced three times, 2 in LMP1 and 1 in GTE.
Woolf Barnato has a good record on this, 3 races, 3 wins in a row. |
