But, in fairness, I suppose he's got a point?! (or two!) Selby |

He always goes well at Monaco so maybe if he backs it up with a good performance there...one race does not turn someone into a championship contender. Usually. |

It was Schumacher's fault 100%. He's been involved in far too many collisions since he returned to the sport, and a lot of them are more his fault than his opponent's. |

Definitely. It's just kind of funny that normally it'd be a completely ludicrous statement, but given this season, it's suddenly not so strange, is it?

Hopefully not ! It will be most interesting to have 6 or 8 drivers challenging the WDC up until the last rounds.

If SFW says that that Maldonado is the real deal deal, then I believe that there is something in what someone like SFW says. If that driver also happens to bring along a heap of cash, then so much the better, IMO.

So whilst I am not against the penalty applied to McLaren and Hamilton, why is it that the rule allows such a penalty for qualifying but not for the race? I have seen it mentioned (I think on Sky) that it's because it's more difficult for teams to predict how much fuel they need to last the race. Is there a particular punishment specified in the regulations?
It's odd that by comparison Karthikeyan was allowed in the race having failed to qualify. I know he'd had car problems in the weekend prior to that and there is a special dispensation rule, but they apply it so often, it renders the 107% thing a bit pointless. |
