Helping hand needed

Im after some advice as to what club will be best for me to join im new to sprinting/climbing and id like abit of clarification as to what club will be best ive gone through a few of the listed clubs on the MSA site but feel speaking to people who are already active wthin the sport would be best!please correct me if im wrong but im getting the feeling if you join a bigger club thats series covers more of the uk you can be invited to events on a more local bases as a quest not sure if im barkng up the right tree here?
few details to help you help me are

im based in the south east of kent

were gong into road going production class in a saxo

aswell as doing local events we would like the ability to spread our wngs and do a couple of sprints or climbs further afield around the country

any help you could offer as to what club you think would best suit our needs would be apreciated.

Code Red Man. has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Try Sevenoaks and district motor club, or Borough 19 motor club.

Plus the "speed league" sprint championship of the SDMC club takes part in many places in the UK, includes Hills and Circuits.
Also, as MGDavid mentioned, the Crystal Palace event, the only motorsport event held inside London.
