Andy Neate - Words and Thoughts
As many of you are aware,Andy Neate was involved in an incident at the Britcar 24hr.
Andy`s wife Sara has made this following statement... Hi I am Sara Neate, Andy's wife. Due to the fact its 415 am I can not sleep I thought I would like to give you some update on Andy's condition. Which indeed is very serious. Andy is in hospital very heavely sedated with a serious break to his neck. This is one of many injuries. He needs a very long operation on his neck however he is not well enough for this to take place right now. For our privacy I do not wish to go into too much detail but right now ever day he is here and stablelised is a bonus. He has been put into a coma for his own safety and we are spending every waking minute with him. Please think of his two children, some of this footage has just been on sites for entertainment, while his future is this uncertain I do not think this is right. To the people that wish him well I will print these pages and read them to him although we don't know if he can here us right now. I'll try and update any one wishing to know how he is when I get a spare minute. Sara x I will try and keep you updated on my friends conditions. Please don't post pictures of the crash etc as it is very distressing to his family and friends. The reason for starting this thread,is that all messages can be kept on the same thread and be printed off,save the time of someone scrolling thru endless threads. Although I was not at Silverstone, I heard about this whilst marshalling at Goodwood.
