Just a side note, Firestone developed a new primary tire spec for the tires during this race. It will be more durable due to the bumpy and rough surface of this track. Each car will still get the 6 sets of primary tires and 3 sets of alternates (reds).

Yeah, it was big crashfest last week. Edmonton is pretty wide so there shouldnt be the number of mishaps.

It's interesting to see the difference in session times, considering this is a track that the engineers and drivers are quite familiar with.

Makes me think that the Penske boys spend a fair amount of time sandbagging. They didn't run the first session with a blind setup, and then find some change which vaulted them to the front.
