Will Power - Road Course Champion
Well, this weekend at Mid-Ohio, Will Power clinched the inaugural winner of the road/street course champion with his 2nd place finish there. He will receive the Mario Andretti Road Course Champion Trophy at Sonoma on August 22nd.
Will Power currently has 359 points with one more road course to go, which is Sonoma. Dario Franchitti is in 2nd place with 272 points. Congrats to Will Power and this shows how dominant he is on these courses. |

It's always difficult to make comparisons between different series, but I think that at the moment Power is the best road course driver on earth...

I read a report that Simona De Silvestro was expected to test for an F1 team...might not someone be interested in giving Power a look as well?

Top 7 IndyCar drivers this season would easily beat the rear third of F1's drivers grid. Wheldon, Kanaan, Hunter-Reay and Rahal wouldn't look bad either.

I personally would love to see Power in a F1 car, even if it was only for a Promo deal or something. In F1 it is a lot more about the team than anything else so I would love to see some F1 guys have a run in the Indy cars just for funsies!!!
