Sean Walkinshaw is/was a Nismo athlete, he's not a part of GT Academy. One of the sons of Tom Walkinshaw, his brother Ryan owns a V8 Supercar team and Holden Special Vehicles amongst other things. Don't know a lot about his background but he's done open wheelers and GT thus far.

I think Dome will return to GT500 next year as the fifth car or they will return to SUPER GT because UPGARAGE BANDOH take the Dome number (#18)

Keiishi Ishikawa and Ryosei Yamashita are appointed as main drivers for #111 EVA RT 初号機 Rn-s AMG GT. Masayuki Ueda stays at the team as 3rd driver and also becomes the team director.

Previously, Keishi Ishikawa took part at 2016 Suzuka 1000km as the 3rd driver of the team. And Ryosei Yamashita competed at Super Taikyu at ST-X class (FIA GT3 cars), also with Rn-Sports-sponsored team (#111 SATO-SS AMG GT3 Rn-S).

Speaking about the race format，I think race format of Suzuka round for next year will be the sprint race or just the 300km race like other race , Speaking for Suzuka 300km , the last held for this race is 2010 season. Then Suzuka 10 hour endurance race is not from the SUPER GT championship series right?

Lets say:

Suzuka 500km
Fuji 1000km

Is this is the good idea ???? Because Fuji Speedway is the most famous endurance races in Japan. WEC , Super Taikyu endurance race are held in Fuji Speedway.
