Bit late on this thread, but I thought I'd make a contribution. Here's a brief compilation video of footage taken by myself at various locations around the Goodwood Forest Rally Stage during the 2009 Festival Of Speed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIzfLQZSdYc
(Don't forget to click the "HQ" option in the bottom corner)

I dont think the video came out that great; partially due to the quality of my videoing and partially due to the fact there seemed to be less of a selection of cars on the stage. Still, I hope the video is at least viewable and gives you an idea of what you missed if you weren't at this years FOS.

Turn it up and enjoy!

Great stuff Rik. You've reminded me of the commentators constantly referring to the Baja as a South American race (in reference to the Jesse James trophy truck), it was a marked contrast when Graham Robson & Tony Mason did not make that mistake! Also great shot of the Moffat Boss 302 Mustang, the second time I've seen that run in anger.

How come they have converted it back to 707 spec?

It was chassis 707-1 that went back to the factory and was then updated to 717 spec. I think it just had the 707 nose on it but they have the other bodywork as well.

I've driven some quick machinery but that thing blew my mind. I had to lift along the straight as my mind just couldn't keep up with what was happening. Sato drove it on Saturday and had similar sentiments.

I'd love to race the thing. It was not exactly suited to the narrow hill at Goodwood!

Good video but a shame you didn't get more of the older cars - Minis....

I hope you spotted my merry gang of marsjals at Post 1 on your way down to turnaround on Sunday, we were all wearing brightly coloured wigs and waving furiously?

Sadly not

It certainly made most of the drivers smile as they went down to the start line

Reminds me of the Air Marshal video. The guys who guide jet aircraft in/out of parking slots... The best in the World is RAF! Search You Tube for it.
