Tony Harman should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Now you're just being too fussy Sam I think all the Ladybirds are in the US. Rob will hopefully be over here racing some time this year. I will ask him if he knows the whereabouts of any of the other models. What categorises a "Special" - just a one off ?, many Clubmans are specials, although there may have been 3 or 4 of a similar design. Of course there are always "Special Saloons".

A one off - although its a bit flexible, a car so modified that is ceases to be what it started as is a special too. Special saloons for example. If there is a similar car but still significantly different then that is a special. Tony do I know you?? or have you looked at the 7oaks site?

Ah gave the game away there then SS, yeah I often look at the 7oaks site. Was quite involved with them back in Special saloon days, used to be David Enderby's mechanic. Doesn't seem to be much circuit racing content at 7oaks these days ?
The Haggispeed on the profile is actually a Mk9b/10, the last that Haggis ever built. I had a Mk6 in the past, there's another Mk6 sprinting in Lancashire. In total Haggis built about 15 Haggispeeds we think, Mk6 - 4 versions, Mk8,9,10.
Since his passing I've taken over the Marque of the car, although at the moment there are no plans to design a Mk12.

Blame Octagon for that - a lot of us still race though and we do still get invited to the odd meeting.

although at the moment there are no plans to design a Mk12.

shame - would go great in the project.

Don't forget "Shelsley Specials" Hill Climb cars. I think there's a book already available covering the subject.

hill climb cars are very apparent - those who know the 7oaks club know that we do a fair bit of uphill racing
