Jokinen not the only off in qualifying apparently:

Mika Mäki, who will start last. The Finn lost control under braking for the first corner and ploughed into the inside wall, ending his [qualifying] session early.

That's a pretty decent showing if you're starting from the back row. In another week or so we get to see a 2 min clip of the highlights...

Well if you're going to pin this up here I should add: Race 2 to Christian Vietoris from Roberto Merhi, Sam Bird, and Brendon Hartley...adding 4th place there just for the NZL crowd.

Hmm so Jules is possibly the only one of most people's pre season favourites to be firing at the moment? Bird hot on his heels too.

Merhi looks a real dark horse and Vernay doing a very solid job.

Bottas and Hartley have much work to do but not as much as the likes of Van Dam and Mustonen!!!
