Nice write-up!
I like getting a bit of an insight as to what goes on on track!

Just had a good read of your write up and was very impressed with it. Has made me even more determined to get myself a track car sorted.

Been thinking about getting a 306 but the GTI-6 version. How much quicker would the GTI-6 be compared to yours would you think?

probably around 3 seconds a lap, i guess, so, 1.04 rather than 1.07 around brands hatch indy, much quicker at a track with long straights

bear in mind the gti 6 would be much more expensive all round for insurance, petrol etc, might not be worth it, you can probably pick a standard 1.8 up like mine for less then £500

it'd be worth getting the sump baffled though, to avoid fuel starvation, i didnt and the engine broke, ended up selling it on ebay for spares or repair

next year im racing in production bmw, cant wait!
