As far as I know, there are no openwheel/single seater trackdays in the UK, where you can just run with a road licence. Only ones where you pay €130 for 15 minutes in a special track car, not your own car.

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
it will be easier to get RACMSA race licence and go to general test days to run single seater car most circuits will do 4 sessions per day £200 some are 20 minutes some ar 40-50 mins depends on track
Mallory park is every weds 9-1230 am £90 ish fee for split sessions
the big problem for track day is Insurance- they do not want to insure the single seater cars

thanks for the reply ,

but what is an RACMSA licence and where can i get one ?

And is it not that when you drive a trackday that you drive on your own responcebilitie. In Belgium you have to sign a paper for that .

what is VAS licence a racing licence?
if it is not a circuit race licence the answer will be NO

if it is a belgain FIA authorised licence then you should be able to drive on uk tracks at test day BUT i would write to the circuit onwers first to get consent- they may inisist on International racing licence

IF you want UK RACMSA licence you willneed to do teh ARDS test befor e you can apply for the licnece
it costs around £4000 maybe worth doing of you want to drive 3-8 times per year on UK tracks and then maybe do some local races
( lydden near Dover would suit yoy? )
