I'm still 50/50 for this event as I'm waiting till later this week before making a decision on Tom's leg. He's managing to walk a reasonable distance without crutches but still not sure how he'd manage on the bank.

Get him flagging Mike? - gives him more of a chance to sit down between sessions. A post with good protection and a bit of level ground - like 2,5 or 7. Hopefully there will be plenty of flaggies on each post as well as blue for the main event being controlled from above.

Post 24. Tom can do the pit lane buzzer and get a great view of everything.

yeah but no but
Then he has to climb up & down ladders and/or work in a very restricted area. Also not a lot of free time to sit down at pit lane in (as I've found out when doing 24)

Al,
I don't want him to climb up and down ladders, just do the buzzer.
Also, dare I say, not usually a lot of incidents at 24. I'm sure there will be enough marshals to cover the rest.
Take your point about restricted area though.

Yep, I'd noticed that was part of our day's activities.
Lets wait for the official word and see what's required marshal wise. Might not be compulsory for a full team - I live in hope.
Otherwise

I volunteered, but no passes for me yet. I'm assuming that it's just a case of they'll get here eventually....anybody know if anybody is surplus to requirements?

What have you been doing to it to make the ink rub off already? I have found a problem with that in the past though.
I'm doing all 3 days, looking forward to it, although Im also hoping the Ferrari Club thing isnt compulsory for everyone, that'll be dire!

It will only be compulsory for those who are camping
And those who live very close to the circuit, mentioning no names.
