888 cleaned up with 10 of the 12 podiums last year, but Fabs did get one of the other 2 with a 2nd, didn't finish lower than 5th in the others, so that does bode well. More ominous is that SVG got 2 firsts and 2 seconds last year ...

So who are the drivers eligible to steer LDM's car at the Gp?
and going forward , who meets the super license requirements? |

There is a fair chance Mr Douglas will remain in the car for the AGP.

Taz Douglas is really the only option theres a few DVS guys who qualify like Shae Davies for example who have the budget but may not necessarily want the ride due to the lack of competitiveness I haven't heard anything about the situation as of yet.

I want to see BJR go well. Been watching some older races and seeing the late Jason Richards affected by terminal cancer almost winning one of the races is nothing short of spectacular.

That would be BJR's luck, "win" at the GP...

GRM, trying to get on top of the Commodore that isn't a Volvo anymore!
They seemed to be super fast in a straight line in Adelaide but weak under braking. Ludo special or just how it was? |

Hopefully the qualifying system will mix up the grids a bit. Should favour 888 however as being at the front of the pit lane they will have the possibility to put in an extra lap in the 10 minute Q sessions.

Have faith in your car, your ability. We all hear there is only a pooth teenth of a second between the cars , Just follow the Gis's lead a hang it out there Being first out is not always a guarantee of pole. Last out may just have the clear track to do it , if you use what the good lord gave you at birth. |

It's been a while since someone has plonked it on pole, at the conclusion of their first flying lap.
SvG might be good, but he ain't that good. |

So... we might look to the Grand Prix to see a slightly revised livery for the 888 crowd... the red Holden branding on the rear doors & quarters has been seen in their shed as white Holden branding.
Images are on their FB (will link to photobucket when its back from maintenance..) |

The livery didn't play well on TV, so increasing the contrast will help I think.

Would Red Bull necessarily like the bold white "Holden" signage on the side of the car? Kind of overpowers the Red Bull writing?

In any case, the Holden signage looks a hell of a lot better now to me. I thought it didn't stand out very well at all before, the red was just too dark to work with that shade of blue.
