Hi Claire ,

Unfortunately you have to be a Racesafe marshal for the Superbikes, and you have to go on a training day at the beginning of the season to be let loose as a trainee

racesafe recruit in november. you can put your name down on their website for info.
racesafe only allowes marshals who done training to gone trackside due to there insurance company.
ive just let them know i wont be able to make oulton park.
watch the bike marshals in action to see if its your kind of thing to do. BUT bikes are more dangerous than cars as the rider goes one way the bike another way and what ever falls off the bike at you. one bike may come off another 2 may follow whilst the marshals are scooping the rider up.

for other bike meeting (not bsb) ask the cheif marshal of the clubs. they will let you play with the bikes. as long as you remember you are going to be doing your first day as a bike marshal and forget you done cars. as they work in a different way in bikes.
most times you get a packed lunch and breakfast at sign on and you get to choose which post you like to be on that day/ weekend.

racesafe marshals are issued season passes for bsb. tickets/passes are not sent through the post to marshals. guest passes are given on sign on only.

you be very lucky. the bsb marshals who camp bring there familys hence use the spare pass they MAY be given at sign on. they only sign on once for the weekend. demend for spare passes among the marshals is high. at sign on they have to ask for a guest pass. normaly at sign on marshals ask other racesafe marshals for there guest pass. as they use them for thier familys and freinds only. any marshal abusing these normaly get told off or removed from racesafe.
