DFP should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Very sorry but I don't seem to be able to make this work, it is telling me in the posting rules that I am not allowed to post attachments, Do I need to become a subscriber to allow me to do this? I can access the additional options but there is no 'manage attachments', there is an 'insert images' button in the menu above the text box which is what I have done in my previous post to no avail - I should probably get my 5year old grandson to come and do this for me!!

Are you using the Quick Reply box to post? If so I don't think it works that way (I may be wrong).

Just click the Post Reply button immediately below and to the left of the last post in the thread. That should pop up a separate box to type in your text and the Additional Options section including Manage Attachments is below that.

I can get the text box and the additional options panel up but only have
miscellaneous options, thread options and Rate thread boxes none of which
have 'manage images' Have I got something set wrongly? I'm sure I have posted photo's in the past but can't remember what I did to get them posted.

Great result for them and the car John, you must be 'chuffed'. So, in effect, this was the view they showed the other competitors:

Thanks for the pix and updates.....usually marshal this event, but this year it clashed with AROC Spring Alfa Day at Beaulieu, which as an AROC Director I felt compelled to attend.....and enjoyed!

But you also like Rovers so a liking for Bentley Tractors is understandable.

Try driving them and then take a view.

Always a Talbot available for acceptable people to drive.

Bentleys are ten a penny and some are even original.

Had a four and a half for a couple of weeks about six years ago.Sold it after three weeks

Got to pub and back and closest thing I could compare it with was a Scammell Contractor and had a few of those in my time.

Just negotiating for another 3/4.5 so will have another go.

I think it's the looks, been my favourite since I was in shorts. But I'll take your point, it's not the first time I've heard it.

Hope you get on better this time.

Drove one of those a few years back, but couldn't afford the diesel to take them down the pub! 1 or 2 mpg at racing speed? In low-low crawler/tickover you could get out and walk round it, or chat to the trailer man!

One firm in Staffs re-cabbed and re-engined them with Volvo bits when they wore out, quite stylish in a chunky sort of way.

Probably know a bit about that company in Stafford that used Contractors and then modified them.
They still have a few working around the world but are building new tractors of their own design for pulling 400 plus ton loads.

Tractors weigh about 50 tons

Enough of that.

These are better than pre war Bentleys!

He had a word for Bentleys not Scammells.

Both made tractors and one made useful tractors!

Both went bust at one time or another.
