Formula 2 Porsche

Roger Saretski has asked me to post the following pictures and request:-

Armin Stengele built 2 formula cars with Porsche 911 engine, in 1975-1976,
the first one as Formula 2, the second one as Formula Libre. I have the Formula 2 here, does anybody know where the Formula Libre is?

Porsche built two Formula Cars back in the 60s.

The First was built for the 1960 Formula Two season. The works team included Dan Gurney, Jo Bonnier and Graham Hill whilst Rob Walker ran a 'private' entry for Stirling Moss - theses were the 718/2 cars which were based on the RSK.

With the one and a half litre F1 Formula starting in 1961 the 718/2 cars were run initially by the works before being sold on to Godin de Beaufort. A new F8 engined car, the 804, was developed and it was in one of these that Dan Gurney won the French GP in 1962. Porsche withdrew for GP racing after that year's US GP.
